Keep Your Original Parts

Do you want to keep your original parts? I am guessing that most of you say, “Yes.” Even though medical technology has made great strides in replacing hips and knees, and under certain circumstances a replacement is the best choice, keeping your original parts is preferred. To keep our original parts we have to think of health and wellness as a three-pronged approach.

Good nutrition and daily exercise are NOT enough to stave off pain. When pain settles into the body friction and inflammation develop in the area and the longer these symptoms go unchecked the more likelihood you will need something drastic, like replacing a part or prescription medication. Melting at least 3-4 times a week is the antidote for pain, the third leg in the tripod of health/wellness and the answer to keeping those original parts. MELT helps delay the wear and tear on our system by hydrating our connective tissue and cells, moving waste out of our cells and allowing new oxygen/water to move into the cells.

According to Dr. Christiane Northrup and many other researchers, our chronological age has little to do with our biological age which is about cellular health. Connective tissue hydration and the subsequent cell respiration allows for the whole body to function more efficiently. In turn this lets our nervous system rebalance itself and the pain signals, i.e. fight-or-flight response, to subside. Ahhhhhhh, breath comes easier. Joy returns and you find yourself smiling involuntarily, because you are not in pain!

I speak from personal experience because after two years of Melting at least 6 days a week I find myself with excess energy some days and bursting into a smile/laughter more exuberantly than when I was in pain. Pain robbed me of my joy along with many other things. My small investment of time, 15-30 minutes a day, has reaped health benefits beyond my expectations. If you want a great return on investment, invest in preventive healthcare methods such as MELT. What is your body investment worth?

The best new book on aging, Goddesses Never Age by Dr. Christiane Northrup has just been released and I highly recommend it. I would also add, “Goddesses Live Pain Free!”
